Preparing your People Homes page
Start your build ↗Privacy
People Homes respects your privacy and handles personal information with care, transparency and in accordance with applicable Australian privacy requirements.
Ask a privacy question ↗This policy applies when you browse this website, contact People Homes, submit an enquiry, discuss a proposed home or otherwise provide personal information to us. Personal information is information or an opinion that identifies you or could reasonably identify you.
Depending on your interaction, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, suburb or property address, land status, design preferences, budget direction, timeframe, correspondence and other project information you choose to share. Website hosting may also create limited technical records such as an IP address, device information, requested pages and timestamps.
We generally collect information directly from you through email, telephone conversations, meetings and website enquiries. The current website enquiry form prepares an email in your own email application, and you decide whether to send it. We may also receive information from a person authorised to act for you or from a project partner where lawful and appropriate.
We use relevant information to answer enquiries, understand a proposed site or home, arrange consultations, prepare requested information, manage customer and supplier relationships, improve our services, keep appropriate business records and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with professional advisers, designers, consultants, technology or hosting providers, trades, suppliers, authorities or other project participants, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law. We do not sell personal information as a marketing list.
We may send People Homes updates where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits. Every direct marketing message should provide a practical way to opt out. Service, project and legal communications may still be sent when necessary.
The website may use essential browser storage or privacy-conscious analytics to operate and understand general usage. You can adjust browser controls, although some functions may be affected. Linked third-party websites have their own privacy practices and are not controlled by People Homes.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, business records, dispute management or legal obligations, then securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
Some technology or service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we will take reasonable steps required by applicable law and consider the safeguards used by those providers.
You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request a correction. We may need to verify your identity and may decline access only where the law permits, in which case we will explain the reason where required.
Email hello@peoplehomes.com.au with the subject “Privacy request” and describe your concern. We will review it and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
This policy may be updated as our services and legal obligations change. The current version will appear on this page. Last updated 2 September 2026. Privacy contact: hello@peoplehomes.com.au. Registration Number/ADRDB-U 102264.
